The next week, on July 16, 2009 you will schedule a time to meet with the instructor again to go over your maps and begin identifying the improvements you can implement to make your business more profitable.
- Learn and apply the process improvement tools of Theory of Constraints, Lean Thinking, and Six Sigma, like your large competitors, to increase your survivability and your profitability. Depending on your particular circumstances, these tools can:
- Decrease your door-to-door processing time by 50% to 90%
- Decrease your required Work-In-Process inventories by 30% to 50% or more
- Decrease your required floor space by 20% to 40%.
At the same time, these methods can increase your profitability by 50% to 200% or more.
